    I guess this is not house rule but standard rules?

    Sorry for jumping in though I do not play the games.

    Standard procedure is to ask in the game thread for casualty choice unless the choice is obviously. I do not think there is any battle in this turn where casualty choice is required? Maybe yes, Gamerman will know best^^

    I don’t want to scramble to 115
    I will scramble 3 fighters to 109 because there is no reason not to - in a situation like that you can safely assume for the other player

    You are 99% to win in Paris, so just take off the worst defense first and you’ll only have to stop and ask me if things go really, really terrible for you

    I forgot to unscramble your russian jet and keep it out of the naval battle. Luckily, with its help, you managed to destroy my attacking german navy. :(

    I appreciate that, but I think you should re-roll the battle without the plane and you will probably get a good result.  I can roll it for you on the forum here, or I can explain to you how to do that yourself so you know in the future - just let me know

    There is a built in dice roller in this forum.  You access it by typing

    ;aaa X@1 X@2 X@3 X@4; where the semi-colons are COLONS instead.  X is the number of dice you want to roll.

    For example, you roll 2 attacking infantry, 2@1, by typing ;aaa 2@1; where the semi-colons are colons

    So for your cruiser and battleship, and for my cruiser, I will roll ;aaa 1@3 1@4: ;aaa 1@3; except now I will do it with colons

    OK, so you sunk my cruiser and take a hit to the battleship, which is a much more normal result here.  50/50 is too risky for me to risk my fighter when I have immediate counter-attack possibilities on the land front for R1, so lucky for you I didn’t scramble :)

    Before I move R1, I want to give you a chance to re-do any non-com or placement of units in light of the very different battle result in 115.  I await word from you, thanks.
