    Take the AAA off first, and I may as well wish you good luck, because it doesn’t matter

    Even if you wiped out Berlin with the Americans and took 0 losses, you would have nearly 0 chance.  And you would have to place the 3 carriers in the Baltic!  So I’m kind of annoyed that you stopped the game for this scrambling decision, when clearly the fighter will be more useful in stopping 2 cruisers and a battleship from bombarding from 113.

    I could say more, what with the game dragging on for 26, 28, 30 rounds or so, but you certainly have a right to play until victory conditions are met.  Why didn’t you attack my stack on Kazak, or move south to try and attack it in Persia?  The 6 cities of the Pacific are all that matter.  You’re spending 15 American aircraft to take Berlin.  UK will probably win it and get 69 IPC’s, but what can they do with that?  Build all aircraft in South Africa and Egypt?

    Are you trying to salvage some respect by being able to say it took me so many rounds to win, or that you snagged Berlin before it was all over?  I’m probably the only one who thinks so, but I’ve had the upper hand throughout the entire game, including when the Russians were a stone’s throw from Berlin.

    It’s been fun, and you are a fantastic player - especially your ability to avoid mistakes and to see everything that’s possible in the short term, and I’ve had a good time throughout.  But this asking for a scrambling decision for 112 and holding the game up for another day again, kind of made me snap.

    You could easilly have mentioned in advance that you did not want to try to keep my US navy in z112.

    I want to say,

    Most of the frustration is just from the time difference between us, which is no-one’s fault, obviously.
    I am impressed by your skills and survival abilities.  And I sympathize with you in advance that you are finally breaking through in Europe only to lose to Japan - that is the worst.  One of my first games was like that and I vowed “never again”

    Unbelievable game, and you just added another memorable chapter to it - very shrewd move, like the Z98 raid early.
