@gamerman01 That’s how it goes sometimes!

Do you know how many perfect US/UK moves you’ve had? Good grief, even 4 convoy dice all missed you!
I’m kind of kidding you - you only faced 3 defending dice - but it’s true :-)
-
I expect the low convoy rolls to come back from next turn and continue to stay low - I dont think you can avoid my UK subs to go to z97 next turn, so finally the convoy enjoy will continue…
-
I recognize that I had pretty good luck on the last Italian and German turns too……
But man, your USA and UK have been golden. Remember early in the game when the Germans were almost invincible and we wondered how the USSR and USA would fare when they joined? Well, the USA has definitely delivered for you. USSR not as muchAt least that’s how it seems from THIS side of the table :-)
How often do you fight over Line, Gilbert, Solomons and New Guinea? :-)

I am willing to admit that over the whole game I have actually been a bit luckier with the convoy rolls than you, after doing my analysis. Those 4 big misses there just help you catch up to me in that category.

In the same game as Aleutians and Alaska? Everything’s on the table!
-
There was this one game where I convoyed the US for 30 ipcs for several turns :P. Was against Axis-Dominion :P.
-
Not to mention Russia presence in central Europe
-
What are you saying? That that is unusual?
You never answered my question about how often you fight over Line, Gilbert, Solomons, New Guinea
I’ll go ahead and admit it’s not often I have 20 some Russian units march right up to Berlin and get a massive Allied air back up

You almost never fight over those islands. You almost always fight over dutch east india and phillipines. The islands near Japan are usually fought over as well. Every now and then you invade Alaska… It is just that the NO for those islands rarely ever matters and even when it does matter, you don’t always have time to fight over them.
As for russia marching on berlin. That happens often. Tho in this case having both a russian force in Moscow and a bunch of russians marching towards Berlin. That I don’t see often.
Just my 5 cents :p.
-
I was addressing Ghost, but I do enjoy your comments here, blighter, to this point anyway
@Soulblighter:Tho in this case having both a russian force in Moscow and a bunch of russians marching towards Berlin. That I don’t see often.
That’s what I meant, yes. And the march “towards Berlin” has come to an end :-) Ghost just wants Russian NO money. He has a real nose for the money
-
I dont experience often that I can trick Japan to get this far away from the important battles
-
Yeah, I have no idea what I’m doing
-
You need to tell me what carriers the UK fighters landed on in Z110

Turns out I didn’t care what carriers your UK fighters were on for I17, but you need to declare them - I think you just forgot
I had changed the view and got one of those weird Java error messages, but after re-booting and loading up the file I posted, it seems fine. Hopefully you have no problem - if you do, I will re-do the Italian move using the UK17 map.
I guess with perfect Italian dice I am keeping pace for round 17? :-D We have both been pretty lucky on offense throughout the game. Seems like some games the defense is really strong, other games the offense.

COMMENT: z54: 4 ANZ FTRs on 2 US carriers
COMMENT: z110: 2 UK FTRs on 1 US carrier + 1 UK FTR on 1 UK carrier -
It could be a nice feature in TripleA if you could get a reminder box regarding placement of planes in sz’s where multiple landingzones are possible.
Thank you for reminding me (again) about actual position of planes - I forgot to mention the location of UK FTRs on the ACs, I didnt mean to try to get an unfair advantage  :-P
-
It’s no problem at all, thank you
