  • This game seems to be an inevitable victory for the Axis.  The end is very distant, but I don’t see a way for the Allies to recapture any significant territory.  China will fall in a couple of turns, and India will end a few turns after that.  Meanwhile Russia and the UK will slowly get overwhelmed by the massive money that Germany is earning.  The US has few options but to keep spending heavily in the Pacific to match the naval production of Japan.

  • While I normally don’t like ending on a note like this, I really can’t disagree with you on any points.  Obviously DOW on Japan did not work out well for me in the Pacific…it put the US too far behind from the get go when you could get the islands…any hope I had died in Siam turn 2.  Oh well.  Maybe we can play again later.


  • I often play to an economic victory as the Axis so I have a bunch of games that end this way  :?.  That DOW on Japan was a game changer and cost the Allies the Pacific.  I thought you had me after turn 1 when everything went so wrong in the Med. and Africa.  Earning a single PU as Italy was painful.
