As Allies I would building subs and destroyers with US and start convoying germany in the Atlantic and start going into the Med and harass italy.

In pacific as well start to convoy money islands with anzac. So let them buy subs. US there need to provide transports to take a money island.

UK in middle east needs to pump out men. Abandon India and delay their move to Persia as long as possible. DO not stand and die in India. Built mechs in persia or egypt and South Africa.

Yes. Any adjacent sea zone to a naval base gains the bonus. This assumes the ship started its turn in that sea zone and it is a friendly naval base.

I see no mention on page 23 of sea zone numbers. Only this:

“You can place sea units only in sea zones adjacent to territories containing eligible industrial complexes. New sea units can enter play even in a hostile sea zone. No combat occurs because the Conduct Combat phase is over.”

If you look at page 8, you WILL see this:

“Note: The Caspian Sea (surrounded by Caucasus, Kazakhstan, Turkmenistan, Eastern Persia, Persia, and Northwest Persia) is considered to be a sea zone, even though it does not have a number.”

I suggest you recheck the rules. You might be looking at the wrong book.

I find the bid conversation quite fascinating.

Given what you say, wouldn’t that possibly be a sign the bids are being used in the wrong place? If controlling the Med/Africa doesn’t prevent the Axis key path to victory shouldn’t more of the bid be spent in maybe China/USSR instead?
