A question about conquering territories.

@the_good_captain They are inactive, since, per the FAQ, original Russian territories that are controlled by the Central Powers at the time of the armistice are considered to have no original controller for the remainder of the game.

No. Everything goes to Italy. From the FAQ:

Q. If the capital of a minor power aligned to my power is mobilized by a friendly power, who takes control of the territory?
A. Your power does.

I would like to add to answer 3, that if the capital that was captured is liberated, any of it’s territories that are in control of friendly powers, immediately go back the original owner.  ie.  Moscow is liberated by UK.  UK controlled Livonia goes back to Russian control.  See pg. 20 Capturing and Liberating Capitals, next to last para .

The OP’s questions are not regarding the capture of a capital, but rather the tournament rules for the political collapse of a power.  Once a power suffers a political collapse, it is permanently out of the game.

Of course you can attack when you reinforce an contested tt. But its no amphibios assault where the enemys Artillery can shoot at your offloading units at the coast…

Does that meant that, when a player with ships in a SZ that an enemy has just built a new ship into takes his turn, he must either fight the new units to the death or withdraw?

If I remember correctly, ships can avoid battle in previous A&A versions, but perhaps he’s changed it to simulate the necessity of breaking through the blockade?
