There are 5 Allied and 3 Axis. Does that mean if there is another player, he will not have to roll : he will have to be Axis?

It looks like Dawgoneit, Dizz, Whitman and myself will be the axis.
AeV’s roll will have to go to the allies since the axis powers had already been filled when he rolled.
One of the guys who had expressed an interest in playing a team game doesn’t want to play WaW…so I’m recruiting another player for the allies.
He’s got several games of WaW going currently so I’m hoping he’ll play.

We may have ten players in this game so AeV’s roll may go to axis if we do end up with ten.
We’ll just have to wait and see how many are playing.

Also…I think it would add some mystery to the game if the opposing forces didn’t know who was playing what on the opposite side until the game starts.
That could add the element of espionage and deception to the game too!

If Whackamatt wants to play then there’ll be five axis and five allied players.

You can just reply to that thread about the tournament and say that you would like to join. For signing up to the boards, there’s a small verification process to keep all the bots out, and after that you should be signed up and then can post freely. :)

WaW looks cool but i’ve never played. is there a guide or write-up someone can share so I can get up to speed?

I’m not aware of any guide for the game.
You might want to do a few rounds against the AI…it may help you understand the different units in the game.
One thing you need to know is that air units can hit subs…if the subs survive an air attack they can submerge.

You can pm me if you have any questions about the game and I’ll try to answer them the best I can.
