I don’t remember the sz, but, the BB that starts with the FEC navy, is that British or Fec? Doesn’t really make a difference, but since the FEC cannot produce BB at the start, the question came up.
Vichy is a must in my opinion, even if you get the worse case situation and get nothing. Southern France being Vichy blocks Italy from being conquered through France. This is a good reason why you may not want to take Switzerland as the Axis.
I could see doing that on a larger map, but I’m concerned that the current map is too small for that. Then again, the game includes air bases, so maybe naval bases/ports aren’t exactly out of the question. Either way, I like the specifics of your suggestion.
If Germany invades the Baltic States or East Poland, Russia will consider this as an act of war. Russia is moved up to its full production and is at war with Germany.
If you have a copy each of Europe '40 and Pacific '40, as well as a copy of 1914, you should have enough pieces to be able to pull it off. Personally, I use the British from 1914 for Chinese Nationalist pieces, and the Turks as Chinese Communists. You can use the 1914 Germans as Axis minors, and the French as Vichy.
I may make a rule change where italy can be attacked by the allies immediately after the turn germany takes paris or is at war with russia. This may keep italy at bay enough for the allies at the start of the game. This needs to be play tested.
He saw the planes. He knew the risk. It’s not like you were hiding anything or doing anything sneaky. If he was 100% sure what the pieces were he should have doubled checked before calling done to his turn. No do overs. I normally don’t allow do overs on phases of a turn let alone whole turn. Once you say That’s all the combat moves no going back during Non-com and finding a combat you missed.
