    Glad to see your back! Sorry, I forgot to post the USA’s turn again. Man what is up with Ukraine this game, they just don’t seem to want the Russians there! Sort of like how it is these days!


  • I have a strong desire to resign this game. After two days of thinking (during spare time only of course ;-) ) I can’t see anything to counter the strong allied forces around Europe. And I have learnt that you are too strong and too experienced to run into similar errors that could bring me back to the game ;-)

    Of course I could draw everything back to Germany to turtle there… but that would only save time.
    In fact that game was lost already starting from G1. Losing the fleet in the Med and my stupid oversight that led to the baltic fleet desaster later were my killers.
    And I will probably never buy two carriers on G1 again… although my German fleet probably would have been strong enough to keep the Atlantic clear for a longer period if my plans had worked out…

    Japan was just ok so far - but I will not be able to bring enough troops to Europe to support Germany there in time.

    What do you think? Anyway… if you would like to see how this game proceeds, I will be fine with going on…

    I’m fine either way. If you’d prefer to resign this one then you can go ahead and start up the next one.

    I’d agree that I have the better position and Germany will probably collapse before Japan can put enough pressure on Russia. That being said since its dice just about anything can happen and I definitely could make some mistakes as well. If I had to put a number on it then I’d say I have around a 80-90% chance of winning it based on the current position.
