Question regarding ownership

In the game, start the game with Finland as a minor-aligned territory with Russia, BUT already controlled.  Place a Russian control marker at start in Finland.  When the Russian revolution occurs, treat Finland as any other non-original territory where any Russian units would be disbanded.

That’s an interesting proposition. I’ll have to try it sometime and see what I think of it.

Krieghung, thanks for the quick response.  That poor Russian battleship in SZ12 has to thread the needle through SZ11 and SZ10 even if there are no ships there and I guess once the UK Navy is gone in SZ29, you just need to start ground pounding your way through Ottoman to get into the fight.

1. It does indeed, only take one turn. Unloading ends a unit’s turn, not loading.
2. India can build as many ground or air  units as you want, but no naval units.

The point of the sentence I quoted is simply to differentiate “regional territories” from “colonies”.  Regional territories can trace a line through contiguous original territories back to the capital, while colonies are removed from the capital.  The only difference this really makes is that colonies of minor powers are handled a little differently than their capitals.  Since minor powers don’t have regional territories anyway, this sentence is more about “flavor” than anything else.
