Basing naval minis

If my old eyes can see them quite well so I suspect you will be good. Almost everyone at my LGS uses these for WaS.

I just noticed the sovyetsky Soyuz was on your list.  That’s actually in the fleet command set. Nice big ship.

Yea, WAS has been my vice lately.    It’s an exciting time to be a fan of axis and allies.

The warspite goes for soo much because of class limits (5-6 I think) and it was in the set task force which commands the most money.  Its a decent ship but not one that see’s alot of play because it lacks torpedo defence.

If you can paint they are no shapeways for like 20.00

Ya our collection is small. 33 ships and planes for each of us. 5 boosters and the starter, though we are both getting 2 more boosters today. Hopefully I’ll get something good :).

Mostly it is individual models of the Rare ships that fetch the higher prices (my Enterprise set me back about $15.) Cases of boosters are usually the best bet if you want lots of ships and aren’t particular which side you get. That though leads to having everything from the set but one or two ships and hence the steep eBay prices.

Also the market is small so you have a lot of guys trying to get the same half dozenish models.

Singles off eBay or popularcollections dot com is the best bet if you know what fleet you want.
