Extra pieces needed to make this realistically playable

Knock out Italy first and then focus on taking Russia while defending against the allies west. its a fun strategy.

Right now you have 3 fronts west east and South, the problem with going west is even after Paris you still have to worry about landing and guess what? You make yourself closer to them.

The easier strategies are Russia and italy. If you go Paris you need AH with you and that means letting Russia getting a bit close to AH capital and east Germany. You need to buy and send the maximum amount of units you can to taking Paris, you are all in.

I did not even know you could get additional chips or playing pieces other than from third parties @_@.

With the OOB the centrals never won one game. With the tournament rules it is about 50/50. And the only house rule we use is impassable Switzerland.Â

Played a lot with the Tournament Rules and no one even bothered to go there as you can get around it with the 2-moves quite easy. Its not worth slowing down the offensive with the CP. Just an observation from my group.

FYI, we have had the CP get wins with OOB rules, but its a grind and that was WITHOUT using the RR rules too! 2-move rule makes for a more dynamic game.

I also wonder what the general consensus was on the unrestricted submarine warfare rule as written. Did they really not notice during playtesting that this rule was entirely uselless in this form?

Well i can imagine the playtesters saying “tts in europe too small we need marshaling cards”
And WOC saying “ok…wait that cost more money, F*** that”
WOC also says “Play testing over, we will fix any problems in the 2nd editions while taking every ones money again”
