  • that’s marti dice engine for you… but I’m surprised you attacked.  odds were you would win but then basically no more ground left in russia… I was willing to accept that hence I let that battle happen.  I thought you were doing fine especially since italy was in a dominating position and I couldnt do a thing about it.  you probably should have attacked india the last turn though with reserves to take it aback afterwards.

  • I will think about a rematch, but I never play with low luck so that would give you an advantage no doubt.

    Losing the Scotland battle so hard on G1 concerned me a lot. With such a strong UK navy in the Atlantic it would be easy for you to harass Germany making an invasion of Russia very difficult if not impossible. I didnt plan on such a heavy bomber build with Germany, but felt I had little choice. In the end I went all in on Russia and Egypt willing to sacrifice the German ground forces and totally abandon the Pacific. German bombing raids during the next rounds with help from German armor/mech and the Japanese ground forces and air might have been enough to reach Moscow and win the game. Well, that was my desperate hope anyway  :-)

    I enjoyed the game even if the dice gods cursed every single German move I made
