    I don’t think there’s hope for the allies at this point. Your forces are closing in with big numbers, and I don’t see a way to recapture another victory city in time. For one thing, I didn’t consider the weakness in my American naval forces, being without that crucial dd, so your lone sub slowed me down too much. Another thing is you had too many tanks left over from your capture of Volgo, as you scored well above average on that big battle. I could take Novg with the Russians, do a one-two punch on belarus with the anglo-americans, and try to hold Novg for a little longer, but your forces are just too big, and I’ll get overrun before I can capture another VC in time.

    Well played. I learned a few lessons in this game. For one, I had a chance to save Moscow earlier in the game, but I didn’t give it enough priority and held back a good number of allied planes that were crucial for its defense. I prioritized the offensive campaign over the defense of Moscow. I really thought things were going quite well for the allies on all fronts, but that one crucial mistake cost the game in the end. The terrible loss in Persia could’ve been avoided as well, and I even anticipated you might do a suicidal Jap air blitz there, but once again I ignored my cautious thinking.
