I thought it was legal the only thing that was tripping me up was the whole we don’t own the sea zone before the turn but you can’t own a sea zone so it is fine to land on a carrier that has taken a sea zone. Or that is my understanding. Thanks again for the info. It was one thing I was not sure on.

In tripleA this happens automatically at the end of the round. So I think if people take S France they’d be doing it for the G2 production rather than the income. I think the S. France play is probably more popular among LL players than dice, since you can ensure that both territoires are taken if you bring the fighter from Slovakia. In dice nothing is for certain, so the risk is much greater. You also can’t count on a strafe 111 or being able to know for sure how much air to bring to Taranto to ensure victory. So in dice play it’s probably not worth taking S. France on G1, unless you’re trying to drop ships in the med the following rounds.

I agree Elk, the only time I would try south france is in LL format.
