    Some of your attacks have been…premature?  Do you ever use the battle calculator, which would tell you your odds of winning? It’s a button on the “Territory” tab. A lot of your attacks have been low odds (20-30%) of winning, while others you position yourself up for a devestating counter-attack.

    Like when you first moved in and took Korea in Round 3.  You had to have seen all of Japan’s units which could and did destroyer your land forces in Korea.  Sometimes it’s better as the Allies to build up forces before doing such moves.  Same with your landing in Normandy on Round 3.  It felt too early, which allowed me to push you right back off AND sink your fleet.  Those combined kind of gave away initiative over to me.

    I try not to do such moves until I know I can survive any and all counter attacks.  The only exception is a desperation move where they will win if I don’t take a VC NOW! Â

    I know I get impatient and think to myself if I don’t attack now I’m just letting him build up.  I have been trying to get better about that.  I really lost hart this game when my Med UK stuff went badly.  I should have reacted differently to it, but I was thrown off by it which let you capture Egypt early.

    I like how you build that IC in Romania early on.  I think it really helps put the pressure on Russia.
