@SeaYa I might do that physical option. It’s a split nine to ten hour with two stops, one down and one back. That would work pretty well, if a bit different.

Here are my five favorite B29’s. I used some micro decals I made for the nose and tails.
Bockscar and Enola Gay
Dragon Lady and Southern Comfort
Celestial Princess and Humpin Honey

dude! these are so awesome! I have been waiting for someone to post some of shapeways b29’s too see the detail and scale. What scale did you order? and were did you find those sweet decals! even a Enola gay decal to scale man very cool!
-
Here is the scale I ordered and they compare very good with the OOB B17’s. I should have posted a pic of one next to them.
The decals I made. It wasn’t that difficult just a lot of work to get to the right size and working with tiny decals, hehe.
I got a sheet of Decal/Clear from the WarStore http://www.thewarstore.com/product46962.html
and printed the decals off an inkjet printer. After that you need to coat the sheet with Clear-gloss so the ink want smear or wear off.The Stars I purchased from an online provider but the nose and tail art were homemade. :)

are you able too get a clearer shot of some of your nose art decals? the Enola gay turned out sharp but it is hard too see the others
-
Very cool - you have me wanting to print my own decals now…
-
Very nice, my friend! Very Nice! :-)
-
I could include my files I used to make the nose and tail art. I will try to do that this evening.

Guys,
––Cyanight,….Nice Work!
––Although I orderred my Shapeways B-29’s a few months ago we haven’t been able to get them into the paint schedule yet. Too many Italian and Japanese aircraft along with several Infrastructure units. Again,….Nice Work!
