    Yeaaa I was already thinking after my move that might happen :-///

    The Germans and Italians have been struggling hard all game, and since the German capital is now lost they hoist the white flag and surrender!

    Do you have any advice for any next game I might play?

  • where do I start….you need to be very aggressive with the axis. Besides pushing on Moscow, jpn & italy didn’t do much. you need to protect the german rear if the allies have a fleet in the atlantic.

    Keep your fleets together whenever you can.
    You can’t afford to have axis transports picked off easily.

    I think you should play some tier 3-4 opponents for a bit and pick up a few things and then we can play again. It was fun….

    If you wanted to play a non-league game against me, it just doesn’t count in the standings, I would be ok with that. Let me know.

    And thanks for the advice, I’ll look for someone in tier 3/4 before challenging the higher tiers again :)

    And thanks for the gaming advice, I noticed Japan not doing much, I guess it’s better to focus on 1 opponent (China or India) instead of trying to kill everyone. Also declaring war on Russia early as Japan might not be the best thing to do.

    If you don’t mind me asking another question: How do you keep the Japanese transports alive? You need to take / keep the money islands, but it’s very hard to keep all transports with/near your fleet it seems…


  • If I remember correctly, there were a few instances where you left both your JPN & G fleets in harms way. this needs to be avoided. While it is understandable to send a jpn Trn on a lone mission to capture an isle or two, when you can you need to keep your fleets at the advantage, ensuring that if your opponent attacks you would be at the advantage of winning or in the very least losing the least amount of material, IPC swing……

    You should check out some tier one, strong axis players, Wheatbeer, Bold fresh, Gamerman, Arathorn, cow….etc…J1, J2 and J3 purchases, movements and combats & NCM. this would help you.
