    I was considering not declaring war at all with Japan just to frustrate you, but I figured it wouldn’t be worth all the annoying edits.

    Maybe we should make the DOW rules require that everyone is at war to start?  It would speed up the game, if nothing else.

    No. Don’t see why. It gives the allied players a way to build up income. Thus forcing the Japanese to declare war. Thus allowing the US to enter the war.

    No a restart with me as allies again. I made some horrible mistakes with the allies. So I would rather try again before switching. Also this was hardly ever a true game to begin with (given the things that went wrong and all that).

    Yes, absolutely there are players who scramble for that move.  Pretty much everyone I’ve fought at the higher end of Tier 3 and above does that.  It can go badly for the Allies but for the most part it decimates the German airforce.

    But that all depends on what you’re planning to do with Britain afterwards.
