The fishing was good thanks. Good weather, good company, and challenging fishing. We were nymphing for trout on the Tongariro River. I got a nice one, of 3.5 lbs. pretty small compared to what Im used to, but a good size for this particular river. We ended up with 7 trout between six of us over two days, so pretty tough going.
