    It might have been a mistake to scramble those fighters. I was betting on the 30% chance of victory, but it didn’t come through.

    I’m not sure which would be better. By scrambling, even though you lost 3 fighters, you managed to damage the British fleet to a level where it can be managed. If you hadn’t scrambled then the size of the British fleet would have been a larger concern for you to worry about. Personally I was hoping you didn’t scramble.


  • Scramble the tac.

    I was wondering whether you’d do that instead of attacking my lone destroyer, since it gives you a small chance of killing my transports.

  • That relatively small battle went for an epic 6 rounds. The dice just kept rolling high.

  • Blast, I was going to attack southern france and normandy and totally forgot about it.


  • If you haven’t started attacking then add them in. It wouldn’t have changed my scramble decision.


  • Game crashed when I tried to upload the save; I’ll have to redo it tomorrow.

    Since the dice favored you in those battles (both cruisers killed a plane :-(), if you like I’ll use Edit Mode to give them the same results.


  • After my last post I had a look to see if any dice rolls had come through to see if I had posted quick enough and happened to open the email showing the Russian cruiser hitting a bomber and was quite happy to see that :)

    I’d say that editing is the best option for all battles that have been completed (in the future as well).

    If you want to add those forgotten battles in France into the mix feel free to though. Just double check you’re not accidentally using the same plane for 2 battles though (due to editing in the already resolved battles).
