Thank you - looks like that did the trick!
Champinoman (Allies) vs Thurhame (Axis) 1940.2 Global
-
Wait, did you just kill my big transport stack again? I thought they were out of range!
p-edit: I don’t see the refunded cost in China’s treasury. I think TripleA just leaves the purchased unit in the production queue for next turn. Not precisely by the rules, but in this case it doesn’t really matter.
If it later turns out both the unit and the PUs disappeared, you can edit it back in.

I can’t check this because I don’t have access to a PC until the morning, but can Russia do anything? Off the top of my head I don’t think they can. If this is the case feel free to click the boxes and take Japan’s next turn.

ok, well I’ve stared at the screen for quite a while trying to devise some way that I can pull off a masterstroke to steal a win. However, there just isn’t one there.
It’s only a matter of time before Japan wins this one for you. They will take India next turn and then decide which other VC to take without much resistance.
I can be a little annoying in Europe, but even if Japan was struggling you would get a Europe win in not too long.
This was all probably known a turn or so ago but I felt it would be a good idea to keep going to see how the game plays out.
If you are interested would you like to play another? Either same teams or switched wouldn’t phase me. It might be interesting to play the same teams again to see what we’ve learned (and not repeat that caroline islands trap!).
-
Sure! I like the idea of replaying the same teams so we can apply what we learned from our mistakes here.
-
Same bid placement?
-
I might change the placement.
Give me a sec to think about it.
-
Well I’ve discovered 8 is a terrible bid because it really limits the possibilities. Even by adding 1 the options open right up.
So I’ll go with a British sub in SZ98 and the remaining 2 to the UK-Pacific.
Good luck!
