@RisingSun I had similar experience, I was big into the naval miniatures but couldn’t afford both. I bought a lot on ebay a year or so ago and have played a few games. It is not difficult to learn especially if you are familiar with the navy side, it’s pretty similar but includes facing. I think it’s a great game and wish I had collected it some when it was active.
Judges for venues?

Will there be “judges” for venue events, as with other miniatures games? If so, how do you volunteer to become a “judge” to run events at a store? Thanks.

So although this is not the official website of Axis & Allies. I have been looking into this matter.
It appears as though there are no judges as with something like HeroClix. I’m not exactly sure how this is going to work but the stores will get kits and the stores will run the events. It seems to highly encourage a sportsman attitude.

“Judges” are usually just folks at the tournament (who play or not) that know the rules really well. The best format is when there are at least three judges and if a rulling is needed there is at least one judge not involved in a game.
