My axis has improved. I got Moscow down to a science now. About to G6 Karl in my other game, I setup for G7 but he did not put fighters in range so I am going a round earlier, I could wait a round and odds would improve, cannot wait longer than that.
I usually do some middle east and africa stuff but I got diced out of that so whatever. Axis can still win really hard without fancy stuff.

Only when I am playing Japan am I cool with a longer game. I feel like I can always win in the pacific. Some games the allies just go full Pacific and it is like well…. “I will just take Calcutta round 3-5 and stay in it for as long as possible, Germany will take Russia, it is going to happen.” That is why the axis are stupid over powered in G40.
For some reason you sacrificed Japan… without doing one of the two gambits. One gambit you take Siberia rounds 1-3 on round 2 you buy bombers, round 3 they fly to mid china, round 4 you bomb the Russians for Germany. Boom. Germany can take Russia as early as round 5.
The other Europe gambit, you take Calcutta, doing pacific stuff, then all of a sudden go Africa. You can screw over the allies and get a quick Europe win. This is the safer gambit, because all you really lose is positioning if you feel like Japan is not needed for Europe.
When I am the allies… OH GOD. Like I just see everything Japan can do… seen everything the allies can do… it is like really bad to be the allies. So I try to dice people to make it so I can win. Like wheatbear… I tried to dice him 6 times… so sad. Oh well. I think I lost that game… it is actually kind of even for some reason.
you left all the uk pac in india planning on the anzacs blocking you know. so were you basically saying, “if i don’t get the block with the anzacs i’m screwed?” because you would have given up india for cheap if i remember?

ie, you would have lost 3 ftrs, tac with anzac. this means egypt never falls and the germans eventually do overwhelm russia. the anzacs blocking 37 are the whole destabilizing factor in this one as i see it.
Yeah I lucked out. When it mattered, which is early in the game.
I saw an opportunity and I took it. I had 3 countries attacking it so it is not like that was totally unexpected.
Is this game over or you got something crazy planned? I know you can hold Japan for 10 more rounds… no one is doubting that.
I mean honestly, you can win pretty much every game just by doing J1 DOW. USA has to invest in the pacific or you get big fast and then he has to invest into the pacific for the rest of the game or lose in the pacific. This means Germany has no pressure. Italy and UK do their thing. That is it. Pretty much works every time barring bad dice like losing france attack or phil attack… things happen that screw you over really hard for any game.
