Wow, that was a snafu. Lost two planes in the drink somehow.

I’m looking at the battles and your combat moves and I just realized the moves you did were illegal.
You had the followin air in sz33
2ftr, 2tac from Paulau with two moves left - valid landing spots in Paulau, Marianas, or Marshalls.
2ftr from sz6 with 1 move left, need a carrier to land on
1 tac from Kiangsu with no moves left, needs a carrier to land on
1 ftr from Japan with 1 move left, needs a carrier to land on.So that’s 4 air you need carriers for, but your combat moves only leaves 1 carrier that you could theoretically pick up air with. The other carrier moved in the combat phase, so wasn’t able to move in the ncm phase to pick up air. The 2nd carrier was also needed to pick up air that you used in Java.
Sorry, didn’t notice earlier as I knew how many air you could reach with if you used both carriers and had only looked at the Carolines battle and not the rest of your moves. I’m not sure what would be fair to fix this, but letting you send extra air in two areas is not one of them.

I’m open to suggestions, but you got the best of both worlds imo. Covering Java and providing air support while sending max air against sz33.

I suspected I might have done that.
I did not mean for them to be illegal - I tend to rely on TripleA to avoid some of that. I think the simplest way would be to modify the attack on Java so that it doesn’t use air.
I think your math is a bit off - I counted two that needed carrirers - keep in mind I lost one carrier, but there was definitively a mistake on my part somewhere.

My original plan was to send a carrier to palau to pick up those other two. But then I got confused.
Coming off a long shift here. Like i said, if we leave the big battle as it was, and then make whatever adjustments to the Java battle are needed, would that satisfy you?

You take Java without loss.
You have to move your carrier to either sz34 or sz46.
You get 1 fighter edited onto said carrier.
You still lose the tac.
Make any edits to your noncoms that are needed due to these changes. :-D
