Lately I have been playing a lot of 1914 and could use more chips and German infantry. �I have checked HBG everyday but they are always out of stock of the 1914 chips and German infantry.

The Japanese pieces are red. Let me find out what color the Chinese pieces are.

The Chinese pieces are a dark brown.

That makes it one of the earlier printings of the game. In the later printings, the Japanese units became burnt orange and the Chinese infantry units became cherry red. The Chinese troops were copies of the Russian design in both cases, with the difference that the dark brown ones (identical to those in the Milton Bradley edition) were stamped RU under the base whereas the red ones were stamped CH.
