I think I’m going to concede this game at this point. It’s still pretty even but feel you have a slight edge economically and things will get worse for the Allies from here on out, now that Northwest Persia will fall to the Germans and looks like I won’t be able to take it back. From there, most likely you’ll be able to take Persia or Iraq and things will get worse from there. Italy and Germany will have even more of an economic advantage from there and then Egypt and/or India will fall from there. I really don’t have time to dedicate to this game anymore anyway. I’m already playing another game and I’m going to restart that game w/that player from Turn 2 anyway. Usually I only have bandwidth to play one game at a time anyway. I wanted to try this variation of the KGF strategy. I’ve tried a few other variations before(i.e. Norway, Med variant) before but wanted to see if this version would turn out differently. It appears if the Allies want to win the US has to dedicate most of it’s resources towards Japan, coming to the conclusion that Russia will fall. Like I said from the beginning I don’t play League games so wasn’t really concerned about the win anyway but it’s been a good, fun game. Good luck in the League!

Sorry, didn’t see your post. I was doing Germany while you wrote this up. I agree with your outlook on this game. Germany has slowly been pushing south since Moscow fell on G6. You bottled them up for a time at NW Persia. Now that the allies were forced out of NW Persia, Germany will gain some momentum. Like you said, I have the economic advantage and that’s only going to get worse from the allied perspective. It may take a couple more rounds, but I don’t think there’s a way you can keep me from Egypt forever, not with Japan still going strong in the Pac.
