    Hi, I wasn’t aware that fighters are moved to a nearby island if you retreat and there is no carrier for them. How is this rule exactly? They are forced to land on land if there is a friendly territory next to the sea zone, otherwise they are lost?

    With this in mind, I would like to make an edit on the units I removed in the last round, if it is ok with you.

    @JEB:

    I just saw this after posting the last reply.

    Yes your guess is right.  Basically if there is no carrier to land, the fighters will be allowed to land in a nearest place (no more than 1 space).  For example, in our case the fighters are landed at the island since it is 1 space from the original place.  If there is no legal landing spot (within 1 space distance), the fighters are lost.  Another example is there is a carrier in a sea zone that is next to the fighting sea zone.  in this case fighters can land in this carrier too because it is 1 space distance.

    Please feel free to edit the units - no problem at all.

    Actually the change I had in mind is to let 2 more fighters and a carrier survive instead of the bombers and the cruiser. But this would have done little difference with your plane onslaught. Instead the attack in the first place was a mistake, in the light of this rule. Well, at least I know that now for next time :)

    In fact I think I will trow in the towel here already. Now it’s just an arm’s race between japan and the US, which Japan impossibly can win. Germany’s situation is not much better either… I prefer to start over and hopefully get a bit better start!

  • 19 18 17 16 15

    Sure.  Let starts a new game.  :lol:  Which side would you like to play?

  • 16

    I choose the axis (as usual lol). I feel I need revenge on this map first before I switch side!

  • 19 18 17 16 15

    You will have good chance to get revenge… :-D  I will start one soon.
