Thanks, but it wasn’t actually a change. It’s just the way the new prices work. I could afford all that under the new prices, but i couldn’t select it in the system was all.
And I realized I did my math wrong on the PUs there, so I adjusted them to allow for the Dutch Indies NO. I also moved a few planes around as further ncm.
Man, I am liking this game. The new Flying Tigers in particular are very much changing the way I play.

I almost forgot about those, but they do make it a bit harder for Japan to take India. Initially it almost looked like you could free roll into India. India being able to only produce about 5 units a turn. Instead of 8-10 infantry. That by itself is a huge deal.

Plus the fact that you have to build for both India and 'straya with that money. And you lost a fighter and a few other things on setup. Man, how is India still standing?
I had a 50% chance at India at one point, but I decided not to go for it.

In my opinion if you don’t go for India initially, you need to wipe out china and build at least one minor ic. Also going for Australia is more rewarding now. Australia is weakened after all. I am going to declare war on the persian countries btw.

I see very little benefit from going for Australia first now. There’s no real money in it. Just 5 - 6 if you take NZ too. It is a much easier to get VC now, though. More like Hawaii.
And I’ll be building land units on Asia soon enough. Gotta get that money first.
