Looking for thoughts on some ideas I have for events that would bring a surge of troops to the table so to speak.
I read in one of the optional rules about the US getting an immediate influx of 10 infantry at no charge once war was declared on them or they declared war. I don’t fully recall and am paraphrasing, but the notion was that that sudden influx represented the mobilizing of the National Guard that took place on Dec 8 and after.
If Japan proper was attacked, would there- should there be an immediate influx of volunteers or civilians who’d been training for repelling an invasion? In such a circumstance should Japan get 10 (or more) infantry to defend the home island at no charge?
Should Russia get an infusion of infantry the turn after or maybe 2 after Germany attacks?
Would Germany get such a mass infusion of troops if Germany came under attack- akin to the Volkstrum and the masses of men and boys who picked up arms in the final months?
I have my own ideas but would love to read what others think about my questions.
Cheers,
Chris

Well then we already have a problem. No fog of war means you cant really steal operation/battle plans.
There’s no real diplomacy, and there’s no such thing as influence in A&A.So what did you have planned.

Bean has a point. The best way to implement this is play with two battle boards, and then be able to implement “reveal” systems, allowing you to track enemy movement. Where this becomes hard to track is with shipping. At that point, it would seem a moderator would be in order.
