Ghost (allies +13) over Arathorn (Axis)

Still very much up for grabs, with a slight advantage for Allies, but I won’t have time to complete this in the near future.

snake11eyes (allies +12) over arathorn (Axis)
http://www.axisandallies.org/forums/index.php?topic=33724.135
I hoped for the longest time that I would be able to stretch for a pacific win after disastrous dice decimated the European theatre consistently throughout the game. Destruction of German airforce for nothing over the course of early rounds led to disaster, and Japan couldn’t do the job though they were close at one point.

Wheatbeer (Axis) over Arathorn (Allies + 22)
Well played by Wheatbeer in European scenario.
I still argue this game is contested, but the economic advantage of a super Italy would probably grind this win in for the Axis. And with me not having time in the weeks ahead, wheat deserves the win.
Axis are 4-0 in the games between Arathorn and Wheat, even with very large bids.

My apologies to my worthy opponents for delays and not being able to claim their wins at the rolls of final dice, but my schedule has disabled me from quality play the next few weeks, and I don’t want to hinder you in the pursuit of wrapping up our games before the playoffs start.
I wasn’t going to make the cut for the playoffs anyway at this point unless something drastic changed, and I wouldn’t have been able to participate even if I should have qualified.
My ranking will drop to tier 2 :( and should thus create some changes among the top players.
May the best win.

you’ll always be tier 1 in my book arathorn! :-P

Have you checked - would some of these opponents prefer to wait for you?
-
You would be 3.46 if you claimed all 3 losses. That would be a shame, to the 10 players who played full games against a 4.00.
Surely one or two of these 3 tier 1’s you’re currently playing would be happy to give you a long break

arathorn probably wants a clean slate, no carryovers to next year. i think 0.04 off of tier 1 can be a gamerman judgement call on remaining tier 1, don’t you think? we all know arathorn is a tier 1 quality player.
cheers

Arathorn is a class act……

No judgment calls this year. They’re the official rankings. Let him answer for himself. I think it’s likely he’ll reconsider.

@JWW:
I take challenges from everyone
Mr. Roboto, for the purposes of the league, the playoffs and rankings, I would suggest that you spend a bit more time evaluating who you play in the league, I only suggest this as I am now doing the same to help my PPG next season. I suggest this assuming you want to have a higher rating and make a bid for the playoffs. No system is perfect but this system seems to work out quite well.
Like you I used to welcome newcomers and help teach them “in the league”. Now I suggest we play a non-league game. Still fun, helps newbie’s, you can try out new strategies etcand it won’t even slightly hurt your PPG…
Just my two cents
Well thanks for the advice, although I did not need it. I already decided not to play against any tier 4’s next season.
It’s a shame, but oh well… -
Take me, Mr Roboto. I will be a fresh tier three when the next season starts, as far as I understand the rules.
-
well but I don’t know if you’re gonna drop to tier 4 later in the season. I didn’t find you in the rankings for this year…

alex is a tier 1 player.
-
well, I was. But you guys play a lot, and well. And not just a few. I will have to earn tier 1 status the hard way.
Thx anyway, though, Bold :)

Whackamatt (Allies+15) over Soulblighter (Axis)
http://www.axisandallies.org/forums/index.php?topic=34414.180First tech for Russia: Rockets, First tech for US: Long Range Fighters
Axis were never the same after that again.
-
Game was supposed to be setup with tech tokens. But something went wrong and it removes the tokens all the time. Given the axis invested in it and G1 was horrible, I just give up:
Odonis (Allies+14) over Soulblighter (Axis)

Not counting this game. Wrong link, and not on Gamer ranking spreadsheet for 2014.

The Odonis game might be able to be continued.
-
There’s a check box reading “Remove Tokens at the end of turn” or something similar, directly beneath the option to include tech. You can still change that option and continue to play.
@alex: in that case, I’ll gladly accept your challenge.
