Alright, top 10 players with 6+ games completed are highlighted with 16 point font. I think that serves well enough to show the playoff situation at any given point in time.
Only the top 8 with 8+ games completed are in the official playoff
Keep in mind 1 or 2 might give up their seats. -
And “Playoff rank” column added
Shows who would be in the playoffs if they started immediately.

sorry for posting on this thread, but need a quick ruling - can’t remember if as the axis I need to hold 8 VCs for a full turn for Victory? I just recaptured Berlin with Italy, and hold 7 other VCs at the moment. It’s now Germany’s turn and it says I have won - is this correct?

From the Rulebook:
“The Axis wins the game by controlling either any 8 victory cities on the Europe map or any 6 victory cities on the Pacific map for a complete round of play, as long as they control an Axis capital (Berlin, Rome, or Tokyo) at the end of that round.”Whenever you drop down to less than 8, the clock is reset. The game got confused since it was the same VCs held at the beginning of Germany’s turn as was held after Germany’s previous turn.
So you haven’t won.

RE: “Playoff Rank” column in rankings spreadsheet:
Yesterday and today until now, the Playoff Rank column showed who would be in (and their seeding) if the playoffs started now.
I have changed it to include players who are extremely likely to qualify with 8 games by league year end (Zhukov and myself). I didn’t want players on the cusp to misunderstand their chances for the league playoff (reminder that missing the official playoff does not mean you have no post-season. All players with 4+ games at year end may join a playoff/tournament bracket at year end and have a post-season).
So AS OF TODAY
Wheatbeer is in the #8 spot. Basically anyone with above 4.00 PPG and 8 games completed would be in, the way things look today. Cow and Snakeeyes are in the 9/10 spots. I don’t see any of the top 8 dropping significantly at all.Cow, if you want in the league playoff for a chance to be champion, you need to beat some tier 1’s and 2’s and not lose games. :-)
