Since when is this the “bold vs cow”-thread?
Can’t you two knock it off via private messages? Or at least in a spam subforum or something?
we tried that before - didn’t really take.
sorry roboto, your objection is noted.
Intense rivalries makes it all more fun… I don’t mind it ;)

souL (Allies +14) over Questioneer (Axis)
Reported due to inactivity, and the fact that I don’t really see a way I could lose. As you can see, questioneer uninstalled 1.7 and we couldn’t resolve otherwise, but I would gladly finish if we could find a way.
Did this one get missed?
-
No, the only thing that was missed was the 1/0 in your row vs. Questioneer, but your record is correct, PPG is correct, and Axis v Allies is correct, and Questioneer is listed as one of your Allied wins. With so many steps, I occasionally miss a box in the matrix, but those are inconsequential

Bracket updated and finalized
Is on the 2nd tab of the league standings spreadsheet - might still be some players who haven’t noticed that….Congratulations MagicQ! Hard earned and hard fought
-
Thank you. I appreciate JDOW’s true sportsmanship.

My first low-luck game went terrible - just terrible.
Take note, Roboto, Arathorn, and anyone else considering “low luck”
Would hate to be playing a LL game and have the other guy get all the die roll hits while I don’t
(No idea what happened in your game - I didn’t look) -
I don’t think he meant “terrible” as in “terrible dice”. I think he meant that he was just having no chance at all from turn 1.

exactly. when facing a significantly better opponent, there isn’t even a chance. although there’s more of a chance than facing a better opponent that is ALSO typically charmed with the dice in full luck games

Seems he had the wrong side, too. Axis is strong and in position at game start, and has the large battles that need to be won without disaster. LL would seem to favor Axis heavily. No chance of losing France, no big bad surprises when sinking UK fleet, etc. Maybe this game was lost before G1 started.

indeed allies may need a much larger bid in lowluck.
-
And then there’s big attacks by Germans on Russians - Moscow or earlier. If the Germans can be assured of winning when they have 60-70% odds or whatever, that is a HUGE advantage for the Axis.
LL bid for Allies should be much higher than 12.
