So, poorly executed neutral crush isn’t recommended - especially if you don’t have the dice with you.
Well played bjergmose.Bjergmose (allies+12) over arathorn (axis).

Finally back in the US. What is the news on the GL13 playoffs? I knew there was one more game going before the final. Did it conclude?
-
The playoff spreadsheet has been up to date. What you see is current. Only the long slugfest between JDOW and MagicQ remains

Thanks Gamer, I saw that. So, whoever wins the sub-tiers plays you? I know you bracket was “official” but it would be fun to do a total climax type playoff.
-
Intriguing prospect, but I think I’ll keep my hard-earned championship title untainted, thank you very much. 3 big playoff games was enough during the league year - I’m hard pressed to even get my qualifying 8 now this year

Like the idea. If there will be more for playoffs, I hope it means something, such as to claim unofficial 2013 champion title or get a chance to challenge official Champion-Gamerman. My game with JDOW is still ongoing and don’t think it will end soon partly due to JDOW’s cautious 2 day a turn playstyle.

First result in 6 days! What in the world!? :-o

I am disappointed. I thought A&A players, shirked human contact, lived in the cellar
(planning world domination) eating junk food and sipping beer from cans and kept the curtains above ground drawn all the time. I have since discovered most enjoy sunlight. It can be lonely for the rest of us, waiting for nightfall. -
IK,R!?

That’s because a stupid storm knocked out my and just my internet and apparently CenturyLink doesn’t place a high priority on getting that fixed. :|

Boldfresh over Wittmann: European victory, Allied bid of 10. Could not retake early loss of Cairo and Russia paid for my efforts to do so in the Med.
Lot of fun. My congratulations to Bold for sticking with a winning strategy. -
AxisandAlliesPlayer (axis) over Shin Ji (Allies +9)
A crushing defeat caused by suboptimal strategies and absent-mindedness! :) But a hell of a game nonetheless.
-
Coulda used a little more bid, too? :-)

I KNOW my record is inflated at the moment. I think I’ll end up losing 3/5 of the games that have progressed far enough to start predicting. :-D
And Shin . . . it doesn’t look very pretty from the allied standpoint . . . but you’re not even going to give the hail mary for Tokyo a shot? You calced 24% and I had higher odds for you there. Granted you’d lose most of your bomber force and it wouldn’t really change the outlook in Europe in the near term. But if you could hang on for a little bit who knows what’ll happen? And sacking Tokyo would replace 6 of those bombers if you reinvested in bombers again.

Nevermind, forgot how much you raided me . . . well okay 5 bombers.
Either way good game. You foiled my early rush in Moscow and forced me to improvise. :-D
