That is the worst!
Using Google Chrome as my browser, my bookmarks are saved on the internet and pop up on any computer that I use Chrome on - pretty sweet.Roboto’s right, the rankings have been stickied as the lone post of the thread, since you’ve had to look it up last.

KILL! MURDER! DEATH! BOMBINGS!

So, how are we in terms of this league’s year vs last league in terms of numbers of games completed and number of participants?
Was AA50 or AAR ever as active?
-
Hey!
At 29 games MR. ROBOTO is kicking ASSS!
That should equal to ~120 games this league!
Holy Smokes!
Mr. Roboto commands our respect!
8-)

The moment he gets 65 games under his belt my byline comes down!!
:-o

So, how are we in terms of this league’s year vs last league in terms of numbers of games completed and number of participants?
We had 577 games completed in 2013, and are currently on pace to have 490 for 2014, so not quite as many.
of participants is probably comparable
Was AA50 or AAR ever as active?
I don’t know about Revised, but AA50 was nowhere close. 2012 had only about 100 games played, and this is remarkable considering that G40 moves are much more complex.
There were only 20 players who played 3 games or more in 2012 for AA50.
In 2013 we had 61 players complete 3 or more games of G40. -

Gentlemen, we have a new man to beat
Completing his 4th game this year, Me1945 is now ranked #1 and is 4-0Amon-Sul, JuanSpain, and SouL get the 2 points they deserve now that Me1945 has completed 4 games
Everyone else’s ranking drops 1 for the man in the pole position
-
Wheatbeer is now 10-2, a significant improvement from his prior year .660 win pct
He is in a dogfight with me - if you want to see a tight game between tier 1’s, in the 8th round, that’s a game to watch
Wheat has lost very few aircraft the whole game, so has a strong Germany and very strong Japan. Italy also has about 6 aircraft.
Japan is cruising but the 6th city is in serious doubt as Australia and Hawaii are fortresses. Russia is also a strong fortress, and the Germans can’t get within 1 space of Moscow. It’s a good one

ah, don’t worry about it. You are killing me!
-
Not to wax philosophically,
BUT, it kills me to journey out to the other boards and realize how many people opine (extensively) on AA and yet do not come on the league and try their stuff… Gargantua? Imperious Leader? Come on guys!
Let’s fire it up!
KILL! KILL! KILL!

I think it may be because some of those people have a low opinion of forum players…here’s a quote from one of them,“I’m sure players who can’t conform to having fun in a social environment because they are so consumed with the goal of winning have migrated to forum play due to their alienation of fellow table top players.”
That’s from an article on the AA.org homepage…it was even harsher before editing.
So we’re just a bunch of table tossing poor sports in that guys eyes. -
Here’s another one…“you will end up alone in the online game forums (where the really weird ones play).”
That’s from the article submission thread…he’s telling people how they should act while playing a game. -
