Are you sure that dawgoneit is going to participate. Also if playoffs count for the new league, then I might be interested as well. It gives me a chance to play against players that would otherwise avoid me .
Sure I’m sure, he signed up.
I’ll sign you up. -
What’s wrong with 3 points, Juan? It’s higher than your average.
-
Maybe his expectations for next season are higher :-)

It is very difficutlk for me to reach Tier 1, but if I have a chance, I don´t want to loose Tier 1 by winning Tier 4,s, so I will avoid them (unless a win vs them coincides with the Tier barrier at least), even though I will probably remain Tier 2 as I am playing a lot of games now vs Tier 1,s and most of them should be losses.
-
Is gamer going to post the league playoff brackets at 12:01 am on Nov 2? :-) :-o :-D
-
Thanks for helping me squeeze that game in by the deadline, Juan. You’re a sport. I’m running into some great guys here in this league.
Unless there are some last day signups for playoffs, we have just about the right number of players for one additional 3 round playoff, with maybe 1 play-in game.
Surprised there weren’t more signups. Last call!!
I know this will look terrible but where is the playoff signup list?
-
For any who are wondering, I gave permission to rgp44 to share his games with his friend JeffM (JeffM makes some of the moves), on the condition that they are totally up front with their opponents beforehand, and their opponent agrees.
This is a league for 1v1 play, but the league generally also allows just about anything if both sides are in agreement at game start.
That’s what I like about how this is run. The XDAP Tournament was the same way, and so will #2 be!
It’s playoff time! With XDAP in development concurrently! Garg when will you be releasing further information on the tourney conditions? I would like to suggest a nominal entry fer of 20 per team to add to the excitement… who’s with me?

Look for a different tab in the rankings spreadsheet
I think I said the year closes at midnight Pacific time, so 3:00 AM Eastern
I might be up at 2:01, I might not. -
I couldn’t resist so… :-D
Midnight pacific time is actually 2AM Eastern for the second time tonight… don’t wait until 3AM Eastern, or it will be 1AM Pacific!
-
Is this a time change thing? Because the Eastern Zone is 3 hours ahead of Pacific, not 2.
-
Anyway, the time change thing makes it really confusing, because it changes at like 2:00 AM my time, I think. Which means I SHOULD wait until 3:00. Old time. I’m completely lost. Alright people, do me a favor and don’t post game results at all, around these times
-
All I can say is thank goodness there are no tax deadlines on time change days….
Although back in my much younger days, we had a small coffee shop/bar where drinks could only be served until 1:30AM. So, on the time change day, we closed for a half hour between 1:30 and 2, then reopened (since 2AM gets set back to 1) and served drinks for another half hour, just because we could. Oh, those were the days…

MrRoboto (Allies) over Juan
Strong game by Roboto.
-
getting all these last-minute victories here…
-
Roboto surges ahead with SEVENTY games completed, Whack is right behind him at 69…
-
JuanSpain has 66 and the wrong colour in the sheet :-)

70 games…. A truly incredible feat. Congrats.
-
I could resign vs JWW, Wheatbeer and Artofwar (I am loosing all those games), and report a couple of wins also, that would make 71 games completed for me
But I think it is not a sporty way to be over Roboto´s record. :|
Those losses will not be good for my ranking in 2015, but an authentic A&A player never resigns until there are no chances… 8-)So my final record in 2014 will remain in 66.
Thank you Gamer for this great organization and all your efforts to make this league possible, and I also thank all the players I have played this year. You are all superb.
See you all in 2015 league.
Juan

Going to bed now, it is late in Spain and my collegues come home early morning tomorrow for another Axis battle + barbacue :-D
Have you thought about counting games phisically played also for the league?
I mean declaring them as a game in the league between two users of the forum, but playing it in person and then reporting the result in the game thread.

That’s right.
The face to face games being counted in league play is a bit tricky. If they are between established players, like someone who has completed several forum TripleA games before, then no problem.
But I have to be wary of abuse. I wouldn’t want to count games against users I’ve never heard of.
