Mysterious Hellcat in Spring 42

I always make sure the USA buys a certain amount of IPC’s against Japan. And those purchases can only be used against Japan. It gives a more authentic feel to the game. And it makes yhe Allies fo something else than Europe 1st every move.

I think 42 is pretty well balanced.
Allied are a bit more difficult to play IMO, since it requires more coordination and forthsight to play especially the US effectively. Therefore axis may have a slight advantage.

Look at the dutch east indies, philipines and the solomons. (and wake) All japanese marker.

Even with a decent R1 west russia battle, you can pretty much stack Karelia every time, unless USSR also buys 3 arm. Do you consider 3inf 3 arm as the superior R1 buy?

Yup. Another one I’ve seen and tried is 4 arm, 1 art. That one really makes Germany think twice about moving stacks forward (or buying planes on G1) :)
