I was just going to say to Place a third INf in the Ukraine as I thought the Ukraine was safe from German attack.
I forgot we were playing the Black Sea is open.

Sorry I got your message after finishing the move. You are right. i think closing the black sea is a good option or the Caucasus is hard to defense.

The moves you did on Allies side this game open my eyes. The sea force is quite a threat that I didn’t consider a lot in the past.

I think patience and having one big fleet is the key, but you cannot wait too long or the game will be over.
I have been tempted to take the Philippines twice and held back, because I would have lost my whole fleet. As the income swings your way, it gets harder and harder for me. -

Buying those two German TTs has probably sealed the game for you. I also did not expect it, but your income difference has done for me. I thought I could keep Karelia
And I can’t.
I wanted to buy a SA Factory on UK1 and 2 and 3. That has cost me all of UK’s income in Africa.

You actually did some really nice move. The bombers from US were also a big threat. I didn’t think about attacking them at the beginning but later realized that adding the power of bombers US cause some real danger to Japan homeland as well as the sea force. Finally I made adjustment to my plan.
In this game the transports are interesting ones… although it seems excessive at the beginning but it posts a great threat. I think one main reason I can afford to do this is due to the UK1 loss of sea force plus Egypt. That brought me starting advantage in Japan force. Once both Egypt and India fall, it’s hard to defend.

I have lost despite my valiant efforts. I should have put that second DD in the Atlantic, but I gambled. It as desperation. I like to think I play more carefully. Was a lot of fleet to lose to one Sub.
