Bombers=game spoilers

I will just say that there can be no Bombers or Aircraft Carriers with out advanced flight.

And I prefer to use “boat anchor” place of “cat”

We switch between the 12 point bid, and the axis again 4 NA’s and the Axis seem to win 50-60% of our games, and the last few months no one can beat them. Axis has one 13 of 17 games since this past september.  We have 20 man group that plays about twice a month.

That’s definitely an interesting story.  And NPB sounds better than OPB.  If you managed to forget the “P” when typing you might accidently end up with OB…but I guess the joke doesn’t work too well since you need to have BO and not OB, but hey, I tried. :roll:

This would create some interesting bids… in games where the bid was high enough
(but with the auction bid system, I doubt there are many bids of + or - 8 or more to allow naval units)

O dear I see.  Yay I know what you mean, I guess I was kinda different as a newb.  When I first played, I was against a somewhat experienced player.  So my first game (as allies) I would do my turn very quickly so I could see how he would do one side.  Then on the second game (as axis) I’d do kinda what he did to me, to see how he reacted.  In that way of action and reaction I learned to play my turns quick and kept it that way.  And I hate to just sit around.

Or, if you are like me, just raid chips (and extra Japan INF and ARM, something else I have run out of in the last 2 games I played) from your Milton Bradley Classic AA game.  Exactly the same size and style :-)
