What drives me mad about this game and the 1st Edition is how easy it is too earn more money than the US by T3.
It is wrong. US should have 50. It can hardly make a difference in The game if Germany and Japan are played well.

You were unlucky, but as the Axis I think you need to keep up the pressure and slowly you will see your income surpass the Allies.
As the Allies, I thought you had a good strategy, trying to keep Russia in it, but the monster to be neutered is Japan. You have to find a way to keep India and to hurt them.
I am not sure I could do well either against a determined opponent.
The Bid may be necessary, unfortunately.
Also , I think the Jap fleet off Borneo(I think) should be attacked on UK1. It is too much of an opportunity to miss.
Try it this time, or have you found that does not help.
