Eventually fortuna decides to return to its true love. :)
I’m not so sure if you had won it through economic victory by going for Leningrad and Stalingrad. I would still be something like 50 IPC ahead of you globally (currently: 64). I get 11 new units per round in France with the French (7) and the UK (4) build. That number may have increased to 13 if the UK would build a third transport, which it could easily afford now with 45 IPC. At the same time, your German factories still get bombed with 4 bombers per turn - even if one gets shot down, that’s 16.5 IPC damage on average you have to repair every turn. Italy won’t get back any of its bonusses soon, there are enough Brits coming their way to keep them busy at 30 IPC. Russia has 42 IPC to spend now and would still collect something like 30 IPC next round; i.e. they would have sufficiently a comeback that you would still need to spend IPC on them. There are 2 US transports coming with 4 fresh US units, and I still have a reserve force of 2 transports and 4 units in northafrica. This round, they arrive at Gibraltar, ready to strike either Western Germany (jointly with the airforce and the France troops) or Denmark (and then 3 UK transports + 3 ftrs on Berlin, if you don’t defend it properly) or Italy. I.e., I could probably take western germany before you get back to Norway (which I could re-take with the UK as well). I.e., things for Germany don’t look good anymore.
In the Pacific, even though you have a lot of income, things don’t look great either. Your airforce is depleted, you need to build land units (and planes) to push China back, the attack on ANZAC has failed/is failing, you lost almost half of your fleet and the US outnumbers you both with regard to carriers (4:3) and bombers (4:2). Even if the US sends one bomber per turn to Europe, globally the allies have 90-92 IPC in the pacific vs. japan with 78. In two turns, those 4 US carriers are in sz54 and can take (and probably hold) Java or another of the islands, in which case your income drops by 9 IPC. And then Japan doesn’t have so much income anymore, either.
But now, as you said, other life goals… (in my case: going back to Brussels one hour late)
