so let me get this straight, we get on crack to get really lucky.  if we don’t get lucky or it doesn’t go close to odds, we get to use the reroll to assure a result that we could only hope to see.  i love it.  dutch might be a little disappointed momentarily, until his pacific fleet rises again from the ashes.  :-D

at least you can take solace in the fact that i lost money to dutch.  i bet him 100 bucks you would not attack the fleet….  the reasons are too many to enumerate.  YAY

honestly, up until this point, i thought hank played a great game in the pacific.  i understand the thought process for going at the fleet - i do.  especially after the loss of the 3 cruisers ––>CAPITALIZE!  but i think you will discover that this move is fraught with problems.  i’m guessing (just a long shot) that hank would never have made the move if not for cow’s suggestion (i could of course be wrong, since cow mentioned the finnish naval base i built - my wife is from Finland though, so i have a particular affinity for the country).

long story short, it’s more than i could have hoped for that you would make this attack.  i will be somewhat disappointed if we roll way up and win the battle, but that’s the chance you take.  then again, if you roll way up, you can get your reroll back, but at the price of most of your airforce.  tough choice, and i don’t think it was a terrible choice on it’s face.  but i think it is the one thing i hoped for more than any other.

oh, i meant to post this because this is what cow will point to if your attack goes poorly - he will say that he wouldn’t have done it because of the reroll.  typical cow, he knows it all.
