@Boldfresh:
if he does have a problem with the buy changing, remind him the buy in the first map was 13 inf. so there cannot be any issue with the buy in this case, but let’s make sure we are 100% on the same page going forward.
A couple of things.
1. I don’t have any problems with anything you have done on your Russian turn.
- my concern came from you being very specific with what can and cannot be done in this game (see previous 1000 pages), but then making all sorts of edits to your non-combats (something we discussed would be allowed) and your purchases (something we did not discuss would be allowed). For the record, I do realize that since no dice were rolled, your purchases are effectively a non-combat move, so again, I am fine with it.
- my question of why you can’t figure out your “final” move before posting is still valid, as no one else seems to have this issue…
- again, the bigger problem is if I save your first file, then make my plans based on that only to find there is a later edition (or editions), then it sets us back in time even further - something you seem concerned about Bold. Which brings me to point 2:
2. I told you from the onset of this game that the only time I have to play is in the evenings. I am up at 5:30am and not home until 5pm. I have no time at work to check my personal e-mail, pms, postings, etc. (except, ironically right now). Add to that family obligations (like feeding my kid) and it puts us at 8 or 9pm. Please stop making comments about when my posts will come. You know I am a fast player and despite having a few other games on the go, this one is my priority and I will get it out as soon as I possibly can.
I have yet to look at R3, but will do so when I get home (which will be very soon). I will plan my turn, send it to my partner for a look over, then post. If I know roughly the time that will be I will PM you.
Sorry if this sounds/feels like a rant, it’s not meant to (it is 30 degrees Celsius and smells like sweaty teenagers in my classroom right now - time to go home!!).
