AWN, are you suggesting that even if round 8 is finished earlier than Oct 31st, the finals matches will not resume until Oct 31st? If you think you have a plan to remain competitive in the semifinal game, i can’t wait to see it.

Tell you what I’m going to do.
1. Wait for Cow until the semifinal game is complete.
2. Allow Veqryn to choose to continue on his own at that point, or ask the losing semifinal team if one of their members would like to join DQ in the final round.
Assuming you beat AWN, and beat DQ in this match, you STILL have another match to play!
The tournament rules clearly indicate that changing players on a team is allowed.
besides… if AWN loses, as you expect they will, AWN is “technically” owed a 2nd life. Thus by merging into the superteam “All we need is Qyrn” all the sensibilities are met for an epic finale.
