X-DAP FINAL - Dairy(Qyrn?) vs. TeamBoldDutch - Game 1

  • TripleA

your attacks went well overall, little disappointed I didn’t get more mech/armor kills but that is fine.

  • @Boldfresh:

i consider the 5 of 7 defense in z111 and 109 to be the only blemish to that turn.  just glad i didn’t attack 110.   8-)

Spoken like someone who’s been beat down by dice repeatedly over dozens and dozens of games…

That appeared to be average G1 dice - no wonder Cow is satisfied

Hmm… I see you did go a little thin on Normandy and got away with it - no wonder you are elated

against cow, average dice are reason for CELEBRATION!!!

  • '12

To be more specific… cow canoot survive if the dice come out average.  Nuff said.

I retract this statement.  You got above average G1 dice, I realized.  I’m not accustomed to attacks on Normandy and South France siphoning off units that go to Paris.

You got an upper 25-30% result in France and had a 4%+ chance of complete failure (and about a 15% chance of a very poor result), so yes you should feel fortunate.

for the record i agree with you… it was a very nice G1 result.  if i’d gotten cowdice and cleared 111 without losing the plan (>50% to do so after round 1) and cleared 109 without losing the sub, on top of all the land battles, it would have been about as good as cow’s G1 against us in the first tourney game.  but i don’t need dice that good…  if i get better than average or even average…  or even slightly or moderately below average… it will be fine against cow.  the only thing i don’t want to see is a game long dice thrashing like we got in the first game.

There are alot of dice to go before we can start talking about who got diced and who didn’t lol…

  • I’m with Garg

I made my 1 post mainly to get future notifications of posts to this thread.

The 2nd, I made to make a correction to the first (about France) because I didn’t want to call the G1 dice average when they weren’t really.  I can assure you all I will not be micro-analyzing the dice after each turn

That said, G1 dice (and UK1 dice when there is an attack on 97 or 95) often have an inordinate impact on the rest of the game, if it were to be in the top or bottom quintile….  give or take a percentage point or two…  :-P

    Bold’s G1 was in the 2nd quartile… 50-75% range…  8-)

I never get top quartile that is cowterritory.  Bottom quartile?  That my hometown.

  • '12

Correction I have gotten top quartile a few times…. when it was WAY TOO LATE TO MATTER.
