So I need to pause this for a second. I got a six for my tech roll and then it rolled a second time and gave me airborne … . but it rolled a 2. Isn’t the number two tech rockets? I already have rockets and it looks like it just went down the list and game me airborne which is the next one down. I could use airborne, but I’m supposed to roll for tech and keep rolling if I get one I already had. I’m going to double check and run some to see what’s going on. If it consistently gives me the next lower tech, then triplea has an issue and I’ll reroll manually to see what tech I got.

I’ll just reroll the dice manually later on today ro see what tech I should get. I propose that were just play as is for what tech we have already as we’ve both based our strategy on this. I haven’t even checked to see if either of us ran into and issue like this in this game without noticing it.
Only the first valid roll will count to see which technology I get. I’m rolling multiple dice in case I get a tech I already have.

Just as a friendly hint for future reference. Probably not the best idea to try this battle in this situation.

Because you basically just gave Germany an extra $6 next turn by taking that terr and then evacuating Moscow.
I thought about that after I did the attack, but then didn’t worry about it. Russia is the one country that I don’t really care to play. China is even more one dimensional, but I like the challenge in China of annoying Japan as much as possible. Russia to me is just a speed bump that I don’t play as well as the other countries. I had Vold playing Russia for me in the XDAP tournament, he does a much better job.
I rolled for tech and missed. And then didn’t like my purchases while I was setting up my attacks and restarted. I didn’t roll for tech the 2nd time around, but you will see a -5 edit to Japan’s cash. Just letting you know so you wouldn’t wonder when you saw the edit.
And as far a Russia goes. They may just be a speed bump, but they’re still a very important part of the allied scheme. Is 6 bucks going to make or break this for either side in the grand scheme of things? Not really, but mistakes can pile up and start snowballing. At the very least, I get Germany’s next tech roll basically free of charge.
