I must confess I have never read about the movements of the two armies after the 3rd.
I will look in Freeman’s Lee’s Lieutenants, as I am not sure I will find much information in any of my other books.

I know he is meant to have done a great job that day. Unfortunately, I have not read of the details. Was Stuart not given the job because he was on the spot after AP Hill’s wounding, was the only Major General in the area and Lee trusted him?
Stuart was a cavalryman, possibly the best of the war.
Lee could not have done without him in this position permanently. I think Stuart would have requested he be returned to head of the Cavalry. Lee would not have denied him.
To answer your question: he could have done it, but reluctantly and with less passion.

I’d have expected New York to be in the top 5.  Illinois I figured would have been much lower.

Yea I also thought New York would be at a much higher position too.  I wasn’t surprised to see my home state California to be at the top.  Stuff there is pretty expensive.  :-(

The copyrighted thing may be an issue. i really don’t know as I’ve never done it like that. Very costly.
I use a HP Deskjet 612C which is about as lowend as you can get and the copy comes out great. I print it out with MSPaint.
You can enlarge the bmp file with any graphics program that allows you to stretch to size. I’ll email you the file. It’s about 196k zipped up, but it unzips to a 14meg bmp.
None of the territories or seazones are marked, so you’ll have to do that, but it’s not hard at all.
