@zlefin lets leave it as is. Normally one doesn’t allow these kinds of changes after dice have been rolled, but it wouldn’t have impacted the battle (your subs got the hits) and I appreciate you are new to league play. And I wouldn’t have scrambled given that htere were 2 battleships to soak to the hits.

Axis bids soon to start happening regularly. Course we just beat cow and his 18 allied bid.
-
This game will be tech, so that may have an influence on the bid amount

Yeah baby! Go low boys!

Nice try, suggesting we switch sides and keep same bid :-D

I thought that I had made that a requirement prior to starting the bidding in the last game where we’d play a one and one. Since I already had gone back and checked to see our correspondence on the last game and realized that I hadn’t said any such thing, I decided to rebid for this one. But, it seems obvious neither of us wants to give the allies to the other side with tech so I will no longer consider playing this 2nd game.
-
?? We hadn’t even gone to 0 yet.
Whatever, I have more games going than I’d like anyway
Happy gaming to you
-
Boy, something changed, because you decided to give me the Allies +10 with tech the last game, and now you don’t want to :-)
-
What changed was me thinking we had a 1 and 1 agreement in place. Obviously that wasn’t the case and I got confused with another game. But I figured I was going to get a shot at the allies with +10 and so was willing to give you the allies that high. I’d be willing to consider a non tech game though.
-
OK, re-bid with no tech?
Since you bid Allies +20 last time, effectively throwing away your initiative to take a good, realistic bid, I’ll go ahead and get things going with a bid of +10, with a limit of no more than 1 unit per zone/territory -
I accept, fighter in Scotland?
-
Yes!
