personally, in the community you describe, i think the utopian government would be pure democracy. it would work very well for such a small group, everyone would be able to have a voice, majority rule would win, and likely there wouldnt be too many people (if any) with radically different ideas.

Well, you almost made my point. Utopia is fantasyland. If there was a utopia there wouldn’t be any need for a residing government. How it would have to be possible is with the people themselves who hold no evil soley to exist. There has NEVER been a utopia. Unless, of course you would count the Garden of Eden. That’s why I said that anarchy would be the closest thing. No government. No rules. No wrongdoing.

I would describe it as a group of officials providing stability and a way of life. Why would you need to have officials providing stability in a utopia? If it is a utopia the stability came from the hearts of the people.

every govenmernt has flaws so i dont think you ever could get a utopia but i think fascism would come closest.

Actually i am not a commie, i am more of a fascist!
I do believe a fascism would work out in this sort of society…
I believe even in a community of even 1000, 1 leader/political party is very good, that means that there will still be no arguments over politics or anything else like religion and free speech! :wink:
Fascism would be much better in a large society, i agree, but i tstill would be a success in this community!

I believe that if the military rules all, there is little to no opposition!

First of all, i do know what fascism is, and i greatly believe in it… Fascism is also a gov. that relies mainly on a one-person/party gov and i think that is good for the situation mentioned! Now i cant exactly say what communism is, but i have a general idea! :-? I like soviet communism which is basically a dictatorship, but i greatly diasagree with actual communism! 8)

Utopia can only exist with perfect people in it. Put in a goober or two and it’s no longer Utopia. That said, with perfect people only working for the common good I would say a true Democracy would be Utopia.

Dsrt Fox I would add some Defnsive bunker and some Nuclear Shelters! :lol: If I had a perfact Military everyone would play a part (wether supply or frontline)… Then my wars would be over quicker…

I believe a very militaristic gov. if it uses the right military start, could become a utopia… Look at hitler, he almost took over all of europoe, creating HIS view of a utopia, i guess utopias are in the eyes of the creators…Therefore no one is really wrong here, its all a matter of opinion! :-? :P

but Fascism does not give freedom to it’s citizens (and neither does Communism)… It sets up a Government controlled economy which will turn in on itself and it can be too easily influenced by Dictators… Although Democracy is just as bad…
