here is the map, you will see how important it is for the one extra truck. i have run the battle calculations again without the intended truck and it goes from odds barely in my favour to odds barely in your favour.
i noticed the extra truck as soon as i rolled and thought that it could mess up my bryansk stack, that is why i asked right away, so you knew i wasn’t doing my turn and then deciding to change it after i saw the dice results.

heh - i know what i would do. i also know what has happened EVERY TIME I HAVE DONE IT.
Top 25% result for defender results in basically his air surviving (maybe a tank or two)
And the British air force would get a crack at whatever’s left, so if it’s not too much, the Brits could clean it up…
But I have enough defense to hunker down safely for at least another couple turns and make him keep sending most of his stuff east…
